Painted Violin by Lynden St. Victor
Being a dedicated canvas artist, the wood surface was an interesting challenge but an enjoyable process. I felt the violin lent itself well to the idea of "the hands of creation" which are adorned in the dark and light striped gloves to represent the opposing forces of order and chaos working together to manifest a higher order as symbolized by the the butterflies rising up out of the hands."
